Admissions Requirements

 


 


Dual degrees are completed in conjunction with healthcare professional degrees such as Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Doctor of Optometry, or Doctor of Dental Medicine professional degree programs may apply to the Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) program as a dual degree student by submitting an abbreviated online application through the Student Portal and releasing their ذكذكتسئµ application package to the M.P.H. program for admissions consideration. No additional application fee is required.

The M.P.H. degree program uses a rolling admissions process in which completed applications are reviewed and decisions are made at regular intervals during the admissions cycle.

To be considered for admission to the Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) standalone degree program offered by ذكذكتسئµ, applicants must submit the following documented evidence.

  1. Completion of a baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited institution with a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
  2. A completed application for the M.P.H. program should include:
    1. Official transcripts of course work from each college or university attended.
    2. Two letters of recommendation from individuals able to comment on the applicant’s academic preparedness and professional experiences.
    3. A personal statement.
    4. Resume/curriculum vitae.
  3. International candidates must abide by the ذكذكتسئµ International Student Applicant Policy.
  4. A minimum score of 90 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The internet-based test (iBT) is required for non-native English speakers seeking to enroll in the M.P.H program.
  5. Commitment to abide by the ذكذكتسئµ Drug-Free Workplace and Substance Abuse Policy.
  6. Passage of the ذكذكتسئµ criminal background check.
